MANUAL

Substrate preparation :
The substrates must be clean, dry, free of dust, oil, grease and any contaminants that could harm bonding.
They can be cleaned with alcohol, methylethylketone (MEK) or acetone.
Check the compatibility of the solvent used with the substrates.
If necessary, rub down metal surfaces beforehand. Clean them after rubbing down.
Allow the substrate to dry after degreasing.
It is recommended to clean concrete with a metal brush and to degrease PVC, glas or aluminium with EMFINET 688/1 or with alcohol.
When using solvents, extinguish all sources of ignition and carefully follow the safety and handling instructions given by the manufacturer or supplier.

Caulking :
EMFIMASTIC CONSTRUCTION TRANSLUCENT can be applied by a manual or pneumatic gun.
After application, use a wet putty knife to smooth the joint.
Do not apply at a temperature under 5 °C.
In cold weather, store the cartridges at about 20 °C before use.

Cleaning :
Tools can be cleaned with EMFICLEAN AL cloth or white spirit before complete curing.
After curing, abrasion is necessary.
